This Privacy Policy explains how Zaid Shaiba (“I”, “me”, “we”) collects, uses, and protects your information when you visit https://zaidshaiba.com (the “Site”) or subscribe to my emails.

Information I collect

  • Information you give me: your name and email address when you join my email list (“Enter the Excavation”), and any message you send via the contact form or email.
  • Information collected automatically: basic analytics (pages visited, device/browser type, approximate location, referring source) via cookies and similar technologies.

How your information is used

  • To send you my newsletter, “Hidden Lessons,” excavations, and occasional updates about my work, books, or products.
  • To understand how the Site is used and improve it.
  • To respond to your enquiries.
  • I do not sell your personal data.

  • Consent — for sending marketing emails (you opt in, double opt-in, and can unsubscribe anytime).

  • Google Analytics / Google Site Kit — Site analytics.
  • Hostinger — web hosting.

Your rights

Data retention: I keep subscriber data while you remain subscribed and for a reasonable period after, unless you ask for deletion.

International transfers: your data may be processed outside your country (e.g., on servers in the US/EU) by the providers above, who use standard safeguards.

Children: the Site is not directed to children under 16 (or the age set by your local law), and I do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes: I may update this policy; the “Effective date” shows the latest version.
